The rubber strap from the original Remote Control Mount finally broke. I ordered a replacement mount and was very happy the rubber strap was replaced with a round rubber type band. This new Remote Mount is far superior and holds the remote securely and very firm on the cart handle. Totally satisfied with this improved remote control mount. Highly recommend this product.

The units works as advertised.
One suggestion that may work well is to make this part with a velcro attachment such that you attach the remote via velcro on the back of the remote to a similar little attachment.
(most of the guys I play with (and me) have already modified it to operate like that).

The original remote control mount lasted only a little over a year. The rubber attachment was flimsy and defective. There was nothing wrong with the plastic part where the remote connected. Essentially I was forced to buy a whole new mount when all I really needed was the neoprene rubber band. Your company should have recalled the original rubber band and provided the new bands for no cost . Essentially I had to pay $13 for a rubber band. Louis Green, original investor.

The earlier version had a strap that could catch on my glove or other objects and come apart, dropping the remote. It finally broke so I ordered a new on. It came with an O ring instead of a strap and with it tight profile, cannot catch on something and break. Great improvement.
