The charging port on my V1 needed to be replaced after years of use. The part was available, reasonably priced, and pretty straightforward to install. Since I own two V1s, I bought a spare!

I bought this to replace the broken connector on an earlier version of the golf caddy battery. The external connectors are the same, but the internal connector is a different size (smaller) than the original. I cut the new cable in half and then soldered the pigtail and old PC connector onto the new connector. The length of the threads on the new part were somewhat shorter, so I didn't have enough length to install the rubber dust cover and washer. However, those are not needed, and I was able to get everything back together and working just fine.
So, with a little bit of work and some minor compromises, this works just fine to repair an older Alphard battery pack.
